Privacy notice
How PVRX handles your information.
This notice explains how PVRX handles website enquiries and optional analytics, including purpose, storage, notification and retention.
This notice explains the current PVRX website enquiry and optional analytics handling. It does not turn PVRX into a statutory authority, insurer, emergency service or automated decision-maker.
1. Who operates PVRX
PVRX is operated by Lemon Tree Villa CC trading as LTV Technologies & Supplies. PVRX is a South Africa-first information and enquiry service focused on photovoltaic safety, risk understanding, evidence and appropriate next actions.
2. Optional website analytics
PVRX uses optional Google Analytics only when a visitor allows analytics. Its purpose is aggregate understanding of website use and improvement of public guidance. Advertising personalisation is not enabled for this implementation.
The browser stores only the visitor's versioned analytics preference. Visitors can reopen Analytics preferences in the footer and change their choice. If analytics is changed from allowed to denied, the site stops further analytics activity and removes GA cookies that it can reasonably remove from the PVRX domain. This does not retroactively erase data already transmitted.
PVRX does not intentionally send enquiry text, names, email addresses, phone numbers, future assessment answers or PVRX risk results to Google Analytics. If analytics is allowed, enquiry events contain only the public enquiry-type token and the non-personal form location.
3. Enquiry information and purpose
When a visitor submits the PVRX enquiry form, PVRX collects the minimum contact and context fields selected by the visitor: name, preferred contact method, the corresponding email address or telephone/WhatsApp number, enquiry type, and optional organisation and short message.
The purpose is to respond to the enquiry, understand the reason for contact and arrange appropriate human follow-up. Submitting an enquiry does not opt the visitor into unrelated marketing.
Do not submit identity numbers, policy numbers, exact site addresses, access credentials, injury information, security layouts, payment information or technical documents through the initial form.
4. Storage and notification
Accepted enquiries are stored in the PVRX website's MariaDB enquiry database before any notification is attempted. A server-side email notification is then sent to enquiries@pvrx.co.za so an authorised person can follow up.
The enquiry database is the acceptance record. Email delivery is a notification path and a temporary email-delivery failure does not undo an enquiry that has already been accepted.
Zoho CRM is not currently connected to this enquiry path. If a CRM or another external operator is connected later, this notice should be updated before that change is used for live enquiries.
5. Retention
Initial website enquiry records are reviewed after 12 months from the last meaningful interaction. They should be deleted or de-identified when they are no longer needed for the enquiry purpose, unless the enquiry has become part of an ongoing client, contractual, legal, accounting, safety or other legitimate business record that must be retained separately.
Backups and operational records may take additional time to age out in accordance with normal backup and security processes.
6. Security and access
PVRX uses access-controlled server-side storage, private application configuration outside the public website directory, validation, anti-abuse controls and restricted operational logging. Website enquiry logs are designed not to record enquiry message bodies, mailbox passwords, database passwords or application secrets.
No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should therefore use the initial form only for the limited enquiry information described above.
7. Requests and corrections
Requests relating to personal information held through the PVRX website, including reasonable access, correction, objection or deletion requests, may be sent to enquiries@pvrx.co.za. Appropriate identity verification may be required before information is disclosed or changed.
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, enquiry workflow, operators or integrations change. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
